Long time no update, I know... I promise I'm still here and still reading y'all. Right now I'm in southwestern France, in the countryside between Carcassonne and Toulouse, making jewelry and eating boatloads of awesome cheese. This is just a note to say that if you like comix and if you're an RPG nerd and you dig a clever script and unique artwork then you should probably be reading Erfworld because it is totally great. Seriously.

Now's a good time to start, too: they're coming to the end of what will be Book 1 and they're launching their own site with lots of cool stuff.

I wish there were more hours in a day.

I had a new audiogram done in December - I get a hearing test every winter. Since my 05 'gram I've gotten much worse in high frequencies and my left ear has really gone downhill, but since my 07 'gram (which I haven't scanned in) not too much has changed.

I'm still wearing Siemens Centra P BTEs, which are still very helpful most of the time, and are only at half their maximum programmable volume. Still, if that middle range keeps dropping, I'll be SOL eventually...

I've started to post my photos and write about my experiences in Thailand last month. I'll be posting a series of entries corresponding to a set of images detailing a day or part of a day. I have a lot of photos and a lot of stories and I enjoy writing about them both.
